Ken Hoke serves as Bishop of our conference.

Ken Hoke enjoys coming alongside of people, leaders and organizations, to walk with them in taking meaningful steps toward desired goals. He is the owner of KOH Coaching and Consulting through which he is able to come alongside many organizations and leaders and walk with them in achieving their best in what they do.

Ken presently serves full time with two contracts as the Bishop of the Susquehanna Conference of the Brethren in Christ and as a Regional Administrator with Brethren in Christ World Missions.

Ken’s past experience involves leading at a denominational level (8 years) and congregational level (27 years) and in operating his own business since 2006. He conducts seminars for churches, provides individual and group coaching or consulting as needed, and continues to provide his administrative expertise to the organizations mentioned above. He is also an instructor in a denominational Equipping for Ministry program and serves on several not-for-profit and para-church ministry boards.

Ken’s education includes a B.A. degree from Messiah College in Psychology, and two degrees from Ashland Theological Seminary – an M.Div. in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling and a Doctorate in Leadership.

Ken and his wife, Carol, have three adult children and five grand-children. They make their home in Carlisle, PA. Ken enjoys people, travel, cooking, and working on projects in his shop and around the home.
